“A 6-in-1 pore treatment clay mask with super volcanic cluster capsules to effectively absorb sebum and resolve pore concerns.” – Innisfree
Packaging
The Innisfree Super volcanic pore clay mask comes in a brown jar (100 ml) with a plastic lid between product and cap. The box is made of eco-friendly paper. It doesn’t come with a spatula.
Texture and scent
As you can see in the picture below, it’s a thick grey coloured cream. A little goes a long way. No artificial fragrances!
Ingredients
It contains volcanic scoria, an ingredient formed as lava cools after a volcanic eruption. It absorbs sebum and washes away impurities whilst purifying and moisturizing the skin without drying it out.
WATER, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, VOLCANIC ASH, GLYCERIN, SILICA, TREHALOSE, KAOLIN, BENTONITE, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, ZINC OXIDE (CI 77947), GLYCERYL STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, JUGLANS REGIA (WALNUT) SHELL POWDER, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, PVP, PEG-100 STEARATE, POLYSORBATE 60, STEARIC ACID, PALMITIC ACID, HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL, XANTHAN GUM, IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), ZEA MAYS (CORN) STARCH, SORBITAN STEARATE, POLYACRYLATE-13, MANNITOL, MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE, LACTIC ACID, POLYISOBUTENE, MENTHOXYPROPANEDIOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, TETRASODIUM PYROPHOSPHATE, POLYSORBATE 20, IRON OXIDES (CI 77491), DISODIUM EDTA, PHENOXYETHANOL
4-free system: mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients, artificial fragrances, imidazolidinyl urea
Performance
The clay mask is easily spreadable and dries quickly. It feels a bit stiff on the face but rinses off easily and leaves the skin feeling smooth and clean. It removes excessive sebum, exfoliates and minimizes pores. Unfortunately, it didn’t really brighten or moisturize my skin.
How to use
Step 1: After cleansing, gently wipe your face with a toner.
Step 2: Apply the mask over your entire face. Avoid eye and lip area.
Step 3: Rinse off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes. Use your fingertips or a sponge.
Make sure you put the cap back on immediately after using it so the product won’t dry out!
Usage order: Toner > Mask > Cleansing

Have you ever tried a pore clay mask? What do you think?
I have used a sample pack of this mask and liked it, though have to use a full version to see any long time benefits

I have tried this mask! It is pretty good. I don’t have much blackheads and I only used it once so far so can’t say much about long term effects, but I was pleased with the first try!
