Review: Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar

Here’s my review on the LUSH Brazilliant Shampoo Bar!

“Get Rio-lly good hair with this shampoo bar, reminiscent of the Brazilian sun. Whole fresh organic oranges are packed with nutrients which will make your locks super shiny. Andiroba oil makes this especially moisturizing when used on curly or Afro-Caribbean hair. We’ve also added ylang ylang oil and sweet orange oil to treat your hair to tropical fragrance.” – LUSH

Unlike most shampoos, LUSH shampoo bars don’t have packaging. LUSH recommends you to buy a shampoo bar tin and keep it in a cool and dry place. Not only is it better for the environment, but it’s also very convenient for traveling! The shampoo bar itself looks like a bright orange colored soap made of sprinkles.

It reminds me of a hot summer day and tropical fruits. I almost want to eat it!

I have very thick, easily frizzed, long wavy hair and I rarely find a shampoo that actually works for me. So when I first saw the Brazilliant Shampoo Bar I was a bit skeptical, but I just had to try it. And I’m glad I did! It does everything I want from a shampoo! It lathers up easily, has an amazing scent and leaves my hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. It cleans my hair really well and I don’t always need to wash it the following day.

How to use

Wet both hair and the shampoo bar. Glide the shampoo bar down the length of your hair about three times (or more if you have very long and thick hair like me). Work into a lather and rinse thoroughly. According to LUSH it lasts 80 washes, which is equal to 3 bottles of 250g liquid shampoo from a drugstore!

US $ 9.95
